Do you have carbon monoxide detectors in your house?
The JOB Heating and Air Conditioning team are Trusted Saskatoon plumbing professionals. In this blog, we will discuss why you should have carbon monoxide detectors
Carbon Monoxide Detectors Save Lives
The other day I checked my calendar as it was so cold for late February! It made me think, the furnace in our house has sure been working hard. Easy for me to handle, as an owner of JOB Heating and Air, I can get one of our awesome techs to come and do a furnace service. But it also got me thinking.
When was the last time that I checked the carbon monoxide detectors in my house?

So I tested them and thankfully they worked fine. So, I want to ask you, when was the last time that you tested the carbon monoxide detectors in your home? Do you even have one in your house?
If not, please understand, a carbon monoxide detector is just as important as a smoke alarm. I could even make an argument that it is more important. If a smoke alarm goes off you can see the smoke or the fire and you know to get out. If a carbon monoxide detector goes off you can’t see the CO, you can’t smell the CO, if you’re lucky you’ll get a bad headache and realize what is happening before you pass out. CO is the silent killer and having a Carbon Monoxide Detector or two in your house is a must in my opinion. There is nothing more important than our families and protecting our families. If you have CO detectors in your home please test them tonight, if you don’t have them in your home, please don’t wait, go and purchase them and install them tonight. There are various models and even some that plug into the wall and they can be purchased at most major retailers. Your family is worth it.

Your family is worth it!
